Join Curt Meine and Keefe Keeley as they discuss their anthology, THE DRIFTLESS READER, which gathers together many of the classic works that highlight the unique natural & cultural history that encompasses the great southwestern WI, MN, IA, & IL landscape to offer us a greater depth of appreciation for our home region's dynamic history. The more than 80 selected texts include writings by Black Hawk, Mark Twain, Laura Ingalls Wilder, Frank Lloyd Wright, Aldo Leopold, David Rhodes as well asmany other Native people, explorers, scientists, historians, farmers, songwriters, journalists, and poets.  This event will feature a short presentation and readings from the book. Books will be available for sale and signing. Free & open to the public.
