Death Doulas

Sunday, February 3 at 2pm, Community RoomDeath Doulas

End of life is a time of great change for families and is often fraught with sadness and fear. Yet, with that grief, there can also be gratitude. In this program, you'll hear how as you learn about the role of Death Doulas, end of life midwives who offer guidance, comfort, & advocacy throughout the dying journey.  You'll also learn more about the culture of death within our society, green burials, and home funerals. Presented by Elizabeth Humphries, MSN, RN, CNM, nurse midwife, and president/owner of Seasons of Life.
