We have some exciting changes coming soon:
Computer Use -- We will continue to offer 4 computer stations for patron use. A staff member will be near by to help with printing, scanning, faxing, and copying. Faxing and scanning are FREE, as always. Walk-in computer access will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, with a 1-hour time limit per person.
Enhanced Curbside -- We are excited to offer a new web-based solution for scheduling your own curbside pickup appointments! CapiraCurbside is a new web service that will be a single click away from your laptop, desktop, tablet, or phone. When we contact you to let you know a hold is available, go to our website and fill out the form with your vehicle information, then book a spot in one of 8 available parking slots.

Along with these enhancements comes another change that will assist staff in keeping safe from the virus--our library building will be closed to the public, except computer use. The other in-person service you've been using all summer, holds pick-up, will be transitioned to Curbside Pickup. Curbside appointments will be expanded to make sure there is space for everyone to pick up holds. Staff will still be available to answer questions via phone and email, but the service desks will be closed starting in September. Returns will continue to be accepted both in the bookdrop every Tuesday, and in the lobby during Curbside Pickup hours!
This doesn't look like the way any of us envisioned library service this year, but we are thankful to be able to continue to offer our core services: technology access, item check-out, and programming for all ages.
