Storytime Programs

We offer a variety of Storytimes!  Storytime will resume the week of September 19th. Right now, we are busy planning future programs, providing outreach, ordering books and other materials, and many other activities to keep the library great! You can view the archive of Storytimes anytime on YouTube.

Storytimes:
*We will have a variety of Storytimes this fall!  Based on patron feedback, many Storytimes will be moving back to the Storytime Room.  Most will not require registration, but a few will so please choose what works best for your family.

Small Fry Storytime In Person

"Small Fry Storytime"

Session: Resumes the week of September 19
When:
Mondays 9:30 or 11:00
Where: Storytime Room
Geared For: Ages 0-2 but all ages are welcome at any Storytime.
Registration NOT Required

Small Fry Storytimes are 20-25 minutes long and are filled with 1-2 short books, songs, action rhymes and more!  Some songs, stories and rhymes are repeated each week and new ones are gradually introduced.

Little Kid Storytime

"Little Kid Storytime"


Session: Resumes the week of September 19
When:
 Tuesday 9:30 (Registration Required) or Friday 9:30 (No Registration)
Where: Storytime Room 
Geared For: Ages 1-3 but all ages are welcome at any Storytime.
Registration Required for Tuesdays: Registration is required each week for the Tuesday session. The Tuesday session is the SAME content as the Friday session.  It is intended for those patrons who prefer to attend a registration required Storytime. Space is limited. Register on the Events calendar, or call or stop by the Children's Desk.

Little Kid Storytimes are 25-30 minutes long and are filled with short books, songs, fingerplays, rhymes, puppets and more – a different variety each week. 

 

Big Kid Storytime
"Big Kid Storytime"

Session: Resumes the week of September 19
When:
 Fridays 10:45
Where: Storytime Room
Geared For: Ages 3-5 but all ages are welcome at any Storytime.
 

Big Kid Storytimes are 30-35 minutes long and are filled with longer books, songs, fingerplays, rhymes, puppets and more – a different variety each week. This Storytime is geared for children who are ready for stories that are a bit longer.  
 

Outdoor Family Storytime
"Outdoor Family Storytime"

Session: Resumes the week of September 19
When:
 Wednesdays 10:30
Where: Outside between the Children's porch and the library sculpture. 
Geared For: Ages 0-5 but all ages are welcome and encouraged to attend!

Outdoor Family Storytimes are 30-35 minutes long and are filled with active songs and stories.  Participation is encouraged! We spread out on the Library lawn and there's plenty of space for everyone. These Storytimes are weather dependent. Outdoor Family Storytime has no registration.  If cancellation is necessary due to weather or other factors out of our control, an announcement will be made on social media and noted on the event calendar.


Family Storytime

"Family Storytime"Session: Resumes the week of September 19
When:
 Periodic Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. and Saturdays at 10:00 a.m. (Check the calendar)
Where: Storytime Room or Community Room 
Geared For: Ages 0-5 but all ages are welcome and encouraged to attend!
