Storytime Programs

Puppet Theatre Storytime

When: Tuesday, November 4 at 10:15 and 11:15 AM
Wednesday, November 5 at 10:15 and 11:15 AM
Thursday, November 6 at 6:30 PM
Saturday, November 8 at 10:00 AM
Where: Youth Program Room
Geared For: Ages 2-5 but all ages are welcome at any Storytime.

Puppet Theatre Storytime will be 25-30 minutes long and will feature many puppets, along with stories, rhymes, and songs. Active participation by children and adults is welcome and highly encouraged!

Itsy Bitsy Lapsit 

Session: September 15 - November 10
When: Mondays at 10:15 and 11:15 AM
Where: Youth Program Room
Geared For: Ages 0-2 but all ages are welcome at any Storytime.

Itsy Bitsy Lapsits (formerly Small Fry) are 20-25 minutes long and are filled with 1-2 short books, songs, action rhymes and more!  Some songs, stories and rhymes are repeated each week and new ones are gradually introduced.  

Little Kid 

Session: September 16 - November 11
When: Tuesdays at 10:15 AM
Where: Youth Program Room 
Geared For: Ages 1-3 but all ages are welcome at any Storytime.

Little Kid Storytimes are 25-30 minutes long and are filled with short books, songs, fingerplays, rhymes, puppets and more – a different variety each week. 

Big Kid 

Session: September 16 - November 11
When: Tuesdays at 11:15 AM
Where: Youth Program  Room
Geared For: Ages 3-5 but all ages are welcome at any Storytime.

Big Kid Storytimes are 30-35 minutes long and are filled with longer books, songs, fingerplays, rhymes, puppets and more – a different variety each week. This Storytime is geared for children who are ready for stories that are a bit longer. 

Cuentos Infantiles (Spanish Storytime)

Session: September 17 - November 12
When: Wednesdays at 4:30 PM
Cuándo: Miércoles a las 4:30 PM
Where: Youth Program Room
Orientado para las: Edades 3-5. Pero todas las edades son bienvenidos para todos los cuentos infantiles.
Geared For: Ages 3-5 but all ages are welcome at any Storytime.

Hablantes nativos hasta principiantes bienvenidos
Native speakers to beginners welcome!

Family 

Session: September 18 - October 30
No Family Storytime October 9 or November 13
When: Thursdays at 6:30 PM
Where: Youth Program Room 
Geared For: Ages 0-5 but all ages are welcome and encouraged to attend!

Family Storytimes are 30-35 minutes long and are filled with longer books, songs, fingerplays, rhymes, puppets, and more – a different variety each week. This Storytime is geared toward families, so all ages are welcome.
