Storytime Programs

Small Fry Storytime 

"Small Fry Storytime"

Session: Will Resume the week of June 19
When:
Monday Mornings at 9:30 or 11:00 a.m.
Where: Storytime Room
Geared For: Ages 0-2 but all ages are welcome at any Storytime.
Registration NOT Required

Small Fry Storytimes are 20-25 minutes long and are filled with 1-2 short books, songs, action rhymes and more!  Some songs, stories and rhymes are repeated each week and new ones are gradually introduced.  
 

Little Kid Storytime

"Little Kid Storytime"


Session: Will Resume the week of June 19
When:
 Fridays at 9:30 a.m. 
Where: Storytime Room 
Geared For: Ages 1-3 but all ages are welcome at any Storytime.

Little Kid Storytimes are 25-30 minutes long and are filled with short books, songs, fingerplays, rhymes, puppets and more – a different variety each week. 

 

Big Kid Storytime
"Big Kid Storytime"

Session: Will Resume the week of June 19
When:
 Fridays at 11:00 a.m.
Where: Storytime Room
Geared For: Ages 3-5 but all ages are welcome at any Storytime.

Big Kid Storytimes are 30-35 minutes long and are filled with longer books, songs, fingerplays, rhymes, puppets and more – a different variety each week. This Storytime is geared for children who are ready for stories that are a bit longer.  
 

Outdoor Family Storytime
"Outdoor Family Storytime"

Session: Will Resume the Week of June 19
When:
 Wednesdays 10:30
Where: Outside between the Children's porch and the library sculpture. 
Geared For: Ages 0-5 but all ages are welcome and encouraged to attend!

Outdoor Family Storytimes are 30-35 minutes long and are filled with active songs and stories.  Participation is encouraged! We spread out on the Library lawn and there's plenty of space for everyone. These Storytimes are weather dependent. Outdoor Family Storytime has no registration.  If cancellation is necessary due to weather or other factors out of our control, an announcement will be made on social media and noted on the event calendar.

Family Storytime

"Family Storytime"Session: Summer 2023
When:
 Periodic Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. and Saturdays at 10:00 a.m. (Check the calendar)
Where: Storytime Room or Community Room 
Geared For: Ages 0-5 but all ages are welcome and encouraged to attend!

Family Storytimes are 30-35 minutes long and are filled with longer books, songs, fingerplays, rhymes, puppets, and more – a different variety each week. This Storytime is geared toward families, so all ages are welcome.

Twist & Shout Tuesday

When: Tuesday, June 27 & July 25
Where:
Community Room
Geared For: Ages 0-5 but all ages are welcome!

Twist & Shout Tuesday is free open play time!  Youth Services provides a variety of toys, puppets, and puzzles, and fun music to help get some energy out! Caregivers can play and interact or sit back and watch, but must stay in the room to tend to their children. It's a great time to connect with other caregivers! No registration.
